I'm wondering if the Yokozuna zombie is worth the 50 toxins versus the 30 for Sumo… thoughts?
Personally I'd rather have two champs and save 10toxins.
Yokozunas are strong yet slow, so not as effective as champs in raids.
But due to their high health points, they make good cooks and servers if you intend to leave the game on and unattended for a while.
I'd say get one, but save your toxins for champs.
I don't think so. I'm running mostly corporals and a couple of Champs and I do fine with raids so long as I make sure they are charged before heading out.
Remember that experience serving and raiding can increase the battery life of your zombies. My level 8 Champ is at 316 battery points and will go to 326 at level 9 (up from 250 when new). Compared to 500 for a new Yoko with less speed and charm.
Also remember that the bigger the battery, the longer it takes to recharge. This can be deceptive because a Yoko can look half full, but you still have to charge him as much as a Champ who started at zero.
My Champs were definitely worth the investment. They're fast, good fighters, and have a good tip rate, making them versatile multi-purpose zombies. I agree with the other poster who said 2 Champs were a better investment than one Yoko.
YER, I got corps (mostly lvl 7 with a random 3 and 5) and that can serve and cook for an hour with the game open. :)
I haven't brought anyone with toxins yet besides my movie star chef that gives me heaps of tips

I am also very happy with my movie star investment, or avatar with bonus x5 tip for all servers. At 12 toxins it is a steal compared to other cook avatars that are 50 toxins and worthless. That way I can actually focus on cooking dishes that I like that are more interesting than lady fingers, which seems to be the only dish a lot of people are cooking. That way I can choose dishes based on other factors, such as xp amount to level up more quickly. People say oh, lady fingers are great, but I have to have six zombies cooking. Well those zombies could be serving instead and leveling up fast to kick enemy chef butt instead of always cooking, which does nothing to them but drain them. By cooking better dishes with higher xp rewards, you level up faster using fewer zombie cooks. Also all zombies even low rating tip z's will get good tips so you can focus on cooking dishes for other qualities, not just to make $ (cause you get $5 or $10 tips almost everytime per dish).
I think Yokos are worth it.
I have a level 5 Yoko and he has 608hp.
Not only can he handle a level 19 raid by himself he can serve for probably a couple hours without needing recharge.
I have a toxin barrel so recharging isn't so bad. Economically I can see having 2 champs is worth it, but just knowing I have a single character that dwarfs all others in HP…
You only get 10 spots (as of now) for zombies. I plan on making them all top tier.
9 corporals, 1 yoko …for now.
Golf, I couldn't agree more with you. Martian Soldiers are great fighters and servers. I would much rather have two Martian Soldiers vs only one Yoko. I have two Martian Soldiers, a Martian Commander, a Blue Ninja, a Cowboy, a Steam Punk Professor, an East Coast DJ, Stoogey the Clown, and a Football Player. The Soldiers are my go to guys. I finally broke down and got a Movie Star to see what all the hype is about.
