So whats going to happen in the last few months of 2015. I would like at the very least a stronger wiki community. But to do that I need your help!
The goal of this thread is to list the recent (up to 2015) Zombie Café activity. For example, a updated zombie list!
Furthermore, I would like to use this thread to show the devs that this game is still very popular and needs a little more attention.
If you agree with my ideals then please help make this post popular!
Agree! There are so many things to learn about this game, and only a fraction of my questions can be answered here…. although some of the fun with this game is learning about how it all works.
Hi, I have a million questions! :P)
Yes, I was using the six dogs to get the extra $6 per serve of a raid dish - and to have them help in a raid… which they do a bit, but they are not making a massive difference really.
The game is no longer about money for me… I have $10M and no way of spending it. I want to earn XP points so that I can keep going up levels.
I have mapped out all the possible food types, so I think that I know the best dishes to cook (or discard) for XP points… I would love to know how others are building up on their XP points.
One thing that I haven't done is to change my chef, I should probably investigate if there is some big advantage to having a special chef.
I have also not (yet) looked into getting one of each dog type so that I can build the mega-dog (I forget its proper name!) - other than I know it needs a lot of toxins and I am currently still spending toxins on building up my zombie team! :)
Yes a special chef such as the undead movie star will boost your tips a good deal. My girlfriend is getting 11 dollar tips making her sometimes 21 dollars a plate. I know that spicy will boost experience but I'm trying to build cash right now and decorate my place. I'm not in a rush to level up. As long as I have friends to cook me the expensive dishes I am good. Also as long as people order from me then I'll get my experience from there. I raised 2 cafes a moment ago and randomly got 4 toxin from killing the head chef. That's a first for me.
Ah yes, that's another question about how to increase your chance of getting toxins from killing head chef!
I went for so many months without getting any toxins this way, and then it just happened! :)
I used to get 3 toxins, but now get 6 toxins for killing the head chef, if I am lucky. It must go from 3 to 6 as your level goes up.
I had 3 raids in a row give me 6 toxins each just recently… but it usually happens to me once every two or three days.
Sometimes 4 days or so go past without getting any, and then you can have a few of them.
As a general rule, I seem to be able to get about 35 toxins per week - most from the raids, with the odd bonus for cooking each day, plus watching the short videos gets one toxin a day too.
I haven't figured out what you need to do exactly, I think this is just a luck thing… but you seem to stand a greater chance if the head chef is killed very quickly, with several of your zombies performing the attack on the chef at the same time… but this is still no guarantee of getting toxins, but does seem to perhaps increase the odds.
Saying that, I have still earned toxins with just one of my zombies killing the head chef on their own - my guess is that the odds of you getting toxins are less, but there is still a chance.
Some people seem to think that you need to get all your zombies entering the café at the same time to increase the chance of getting toxins - I have certainly still got toxins with a fumbled attempt at getting them all in at the same time… so it is not a critical requirement, but maybe it increases the chance.. not sure! I have also earned toxins when attacking the lower level café, so it is not an essential requirement to only attack the same or a higher level - but again, maybe this helps the odds if you do.
I do know that it is also not essential to have all your zombies attacking together, you do not need to be on an Internet connection, you do not need to have killed all the customers and staff with the chef left to last.
If only we could find the formula that is used so we could know with certainty as to how to increase our chances!
It does help when you zombies are strong enough to be able to win raids with ease, then you can raid every time a café becomes available… which of course is a great way to get new dishes too.
I have noticed that the zombie which kills the chef earns 150 XP points, but other kills only get 1 XP point.
There are so many dishes, but at the end of the day you either want to cook for XP or cook for $$$, in which case you would want to cook the dish that provides the greatest reward. Dishes that take many hours or days to cook are not the best selection.
Also, as your level goes up - you get more XP points for the dishes that you cook… but each level requires more XP points to complete. Each level increases by 10%, but the XP points you earn only increases by 3% for every 3rd level increase.
Level 100 requires you to get 65,602,661 XP points!
So many things to still learn about!!
.. I always try to cook everything requested on me, but with only one head chef that doesn't tire and eat the customers, it is hard - and I get a lot of requests. Sometimes a dish will burn, or will disappear from the request list before I can get to it - which I always regret.
I much prefer to cook the quicker dishes, and as I have said - Very Spicy is the best dish to be cooking, as this provides the maximum XP points.
… I have not yet learned the value in raiding friends cafes - I don't yet see the point, as all it does is tire out my zombies which then need a very big rest before they can be useful to me again!
That's one from the ZC secret's :)
I have few friends that started ZC and left let's say on level 3-5 (doesn't matter) - the main thing is that they are weak. When user don't play ZC long time his cafe becomes a donor to my zombies due to the customers of this cafe. Entering this cafe I'm looking for high level customers who have high health rate - 1200 (like Huntsman, Darkloard, Iron Steel). Few times entering I finally capture the moment when there are let's say 2 high level customers in the cafe and I raid it. Weak servers are done very fast and strong customers become donors to my zombies to regain power. Another tip: When You see one of Your attackers is leading to the chef meanwhile others killing those high leveled customers - I just select this attacker and constantly point to any food table. This way he don't attacks the chef and thus let others fully regain power from dead customers. Certainly the attack is done with 3-4 zombies not the whole hord.
Wow 35 toxins a week from raiding that's crazy but you also have an army of wolves. I have to work with what I got. I'm saving up for one of the new characters. I tend to avoid the goblin chef and Frankenstein chef because it kills most of my zombies. I only have 2 strong toxin zombies while the rest of mediocre. Friends I think only give experience and money but no toxins. I think I'm going to start a new cafe on my iPhone. Would I need another Game Center ID or does it not matter?
I think that the best zombie to start with is the fireman - at $500 each, they can cook or serve for longer than most, and they don't cost you any toxins. What I think is the best method is to save up to 75 toxins, and you can get either the wolf, red or huntsman - which are all very similar. You only need one of these characters to be very effective in a raid, leaving your fireman to serve and cook and not get killed! Also, wolf, red and huntsman have a special way of you turning them into a mega werewolf when in a raid - which I get them to do if they are about to die - as the werewolf doesn't rely on how much strength the zombie has left, they go nuts killing low powered zombies in a single swipe, and they run for 60 seconds before turning back into the original zombie character again. I only turn them into a mega werewolf if they are about to die, as I would rather my normal zombie gets the benefit for killing a head chef - as that is 150 XP points.. if the mega werewolf does the kill, there are no XP points given… so well worth saving up the 75 toxins!
For ages I went with champ boxers that cost 20 toxins… as this delivers the best power for just 20 toxins… but 1x wolf/red/huntsman is way better than 3 or 4 champ boxers.
Not sure about a 2nd café… good luck! I don't think you need a new game centre ID, as the game resides on the device you are playing it on - so if you have a 2nd iPhone or iPad then you may be able to have a 2nd zombie game going under your existing game centre ID.
Just had a sudden thought… don't start a new café!!
Think of all the hours and effort you have put in so to get to level 36 - nothing wrong in a redecorating, but much better to do that from level 36, rather than to start from brand new. :)
I wasn't going to delete my old cafe for a new one. I wanted to start a new cafe on my iPhone while still playing my other cafe on my iPad. Also I got another 4 toxins off of a computer cafe the day after the one I had already mentioned. Tried doing the same thing the next day and no dice. I think it is random. I have 61 toxin saved up right now. I really want to get Her Royal Highness. Seemed like a good character but then one of the characters to make the Big Bad Wolf is tempting.
I have two zombie dogs. They Always die on a raid. Currently both level 0. I wait 8 hours they revive. I push the "Rest" button, the dogs walk over to their dog houses, sit for a second then get up and walk around. How do I get the dogs to rest?
Hi, I don't think that you can make the dogs "rest" as such… they are always resting and regaining their strength… except when you use them in a raid.
If you look at their stats, they are not very powerful - they can easily kill the lower ranked Zombies, but don't stand much of a chance against the mid-level Zombies or higher.
With each kill, they do gain an XP point - and this will eventually take them to the next level where they can build up more energy and be more successful…. but it takes a very long time to build them up.
I used to send the dog(s) in first on a raid so that they could at least take some energy out of the café before sending in my Zombies, expecting them to all die. Nowadays I just send them and the zombies all in together, and I don't care if they die or not.
Sometimes you will be lucky and your dog can deliver the final fatal blow to the head chef in the café that you raid… in which case the dog will gain 150 XP points rather then the usual 1 received for a kill.
I obtained 6 of the undead rottweiler's in the end, and have built some of them up to level 6… but now think that this was a waste of time. I should have instead got one each of the different dogs, not 6 of the same.
When you have lots of friends… then Zombie Café doesn't always work correctly when you try to visit all of your friends cafés.
I have learned to
- Reset the game once each day, usually first thing in the morning before visiting friends
- Only select up to 15 friends at a time… if you do more, then some will not always show up and will be "missing" randomly.
- Only have a maximum of 43 Game Centre friends playing Zombie Café… if you have more, then some will not always show up and will be "missing" randomly.
I used to have about 70 friends, and it annoyed me that some cafes that I liked to visit wouldn't be showing up for days at a time.
Now that I have culled those who don't play anymore, or constantly cheet (go green for a week, so I cant visit them anyway and if I try to deliver food that they have ordered my game crashes) … and I have the number down to 43, and I only select 15 at a time… it works well… but you do still need to reboot the game once a day. If you enter a café and find yourself in a café that you were not expecting, then just restart the game app. :)
Can someone give me your game center names/accounts for me to add? (mine is my name). Or add me. I'm a Level 26 (I think) with weak zombies and little money. Friends certainly would be useful. Thanks.
